Career Guidance
All students have regular access to the schools Guidance Counsellor.
Home School Liaison
The Home School Liaison Officer is available to visit the homes of all students in the college to provide information about the facilities available to the students. If preferred he can meet Parents/Guardians in the college. He also organises Language classes for parents whose first language is not English. The Home School Liaison Officer is also available to meet parents by appointment to discuss any issues relating to a students progress in school.
Pastoral Care
On entering the college each class is assigned a class teacher. The class teacher meets the students for roll call every morning and gets to know each student well. He/She is available to parents by appointment to discuss their child's progress. Each First Year student is assigned a mentor, a senior student who helps them to settle into the college.
Learning Support
The college offers a wide range of supports to all students who may require extra assistance with their studies. Extra English tuition is available to all students whose first language is not English.
Homework Club
Homework Club is available to First and Second Year students every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm until 5pm. Students are given help to develop study skills and are given help if required. A snack is available beforehand. There is no charge for Homework Club.
After School Study
After School Study is available to Third, Fifth and Sixth Year students every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. A snack is available beforehand. There is no charge for After School Study.
